Who Doesn't Need a Little Extra Money for Christmas? 

Community Horizons is assisting a local member in the Tomahawk area who is seeking a dependable caregiver. This member is looking for a back up and a caregiver for the evening shifts.  The back up would be open to assisting for both the day shift hours and evening shifts hours for when there is a call in or when current staff needs time off.

Schedule

• 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Pay Rate

$17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Light housekeeping, including laundry and dishes
• Reminding the member to wear their Life Alert device
• Providing safety reminders, such as checking whether the stove has been left on or is still hot
• Assisting with putting laundry away and helping with dishes while encouraging the member to participate, as they enjoy being involved around the home
• Meal preparation
• Administering three daily medication passes
• There is also a task list that is provided in the home for the caregiver to follow
• Training is provided

Qualifications

• Kind, caring, and compassionate individual
• Experience working with or supporting individuals with dementia preferred
• Valid driver's license required
• Reliable transportation required
• Must be able to pass a background check
