Part-Time In-Home Caregiver – Flexible Short Shifts | Wisconsin Rapids
Hourly Pay: $16.32 | Wisconsin Rapids, East Side near Baker Street
Are you looking for flexible, part-time work where you can make a meaningful difference in someone's life? I’m looking for a dependable, compassionate caregiver to provide one-on-one assistance in my home.
I value kindness, a positive attitude, and someone who treats me with dignity and respect. If you enjoy helping others and want to build a supportive working relationship, this could be a great fit for you.
This is a direct-hire position in a private home, not an agency job. You will be hired directly by me, allowing for a more personal working relationship and the opportunity to provide individualized support.
Available Shifts
Several short shifts are available, offering flexibility for those looking for part-time work:
- Morning: Monday and Wednesday, 7:00 AM–11:00 AM; every other Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM–10:00 AM
- Evening: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and every other Saturday and Sunday, 5:00 PM–7:00 PM
- Bedtime: Monday–Friday and every other weekend, 11:00 PM–12:00 AM
Applicants may be considered for one or more shifts, depending on availability and scheduling needs.
Job Responsibilities
You will help me maintain my independence, comfort, and quality of life at home. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with personal care, including bed baths, dressing, and grooming
- Helping with safe transfers between my wheelchair and bed using a Hoyer lift
- Providing additional assistance with daily care needs as needed
- Maintaining a respectful, comfortable environment while supporting my independence and dignity
Qualifications
- Dependability and punctuality are essential
- A caring, patient, and respectful attitude
- Previous home care or caregiving experience is preferred but not required
- Willingness to learn, with training available for the right candidate
- Ability to pass a caregiver background check
- Must be 18+
