Caregiver / Personal Support Worker – Nekoosa Area
Schedule: Mondays and Tuesdays, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Pay: $16.32 per hour
Location: Nekoosa, WI area (in the member's home)
About the Opportunity
Community Horizons is helping a woman in the Nekoosa area find a caregiver to support her at home. She is very sweet and enjoys trivia, watching animal and cooking shows, and playing with her new puppy. If you are patient, encouraging, and enjoy a friendly, fun-loving personality, this could be a great match!
What You'll Do
The caregiver will help the member build basic life skills and independence, including:
· Cleaning and keeping up with household tasks
· Cooking and meal preparation
· Changing the litter box and helping care for her pets
· Overall self-care and household management
· Medication management around noon during each shift
· Enjoying shared interests such as trivia, animal and cooking shows, and time with her new puppy
About Self-Directed Services
This role is part of self-directed services, where members choose their own caregivers. Community Horizons is the service provider and works to help members stay in their homes and maintain their independence.
How Pay Works
No money is exchanged in the member's home. Caregivers are paid at $16.32 per hour through a third-party fiscal agent.
Please note there are cats, a dog, and smoking in the home.
