Job Summary
Community Horizons is assisting an adult male member in the Wisconsin Rapids area in finding a dependable caregiver for Sunday mornings.

This is a rewarding opportunity to provide calm, respectful, one-on-one support in the member’s home. The ideal caregiver will be patient, reliable, and comfortable following the member’s preferred morning routine while promoting his comfort, dignity, and independence.

Position Details

·        Location: Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin

·        Schedule: Sundays only, 7:30–11:30 a.m.

·        Hourly rate: $16.32

About the Role

You will provide Sunday morning support to an adult male member who is nonverbal and enjoys sleeping in. While he rests, you will remain available until he wakes. Once he is awake, you will help him get ready for the day in a calm, respectful, and person-centered manner.

Key Responsibilities

·        Assist with morning personal cares and freshening up.

·        Help the member get dressed and ready for the day.

·        Assist with preparing and eating breakfast.

·        Offer a community breakfast outing, such as a trip to Burger King, if you and the member would enjoy it.

·        Provide straight catheter care as part of the member’s routine; complete training will be provided.

·        Support the member’s comfort, dignity, safety, and independence throughout the shift.

A dependable, patient, and compassionate caregiver who is comfortable supporting a nonverbal member with personal care and breakfast routines. No prior straight catheter experience is required; training will be provided.
