Caregiver Needed in New Richmond, Wisconsin!

Community Horizons is assisting a member in finding   a compassionate, easygoing caregiver to support an individual in  Richmond, Wisconsin. If you enjoy making a difference, sharing a few laughs, and listening to great ’70s rock music, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Position Details:

• Location: New Richmond, Wisconsin
• Hours: Approximately 24 hours per week
• Schedule: Flexible, with approximately 2 overnight shifts and potentially 3 overnights and a daytime shift
• Starting Pay: $16.32 per hour, with the opportunity for increased pay based on experience

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing overnight assistance with getting out of bed to use the bathroom.
• Helping with repositioning throughout the night, including assisting the individual onto their side with a pillow for comfort.
• Providing support with mobility and transfers as needed.
• Assisting an individual who uses a walker and wheelchair at times.
• Providing compassionate, respectful, and dependable care.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Is kind, patient, compassionate, and easy to get along with.
• Has a relaxed, go-with-the-flow personality and a great sense of humor.
• Enjoy laughing, having conversations, and creating a positive environment.
• Is dependable, attentive, and comfortable assisting with personal care and mobility.
• Is comfortable around dogs, as there is a dog in the home.
• Enjoy listening to classic ’70s rock music!

Experience is preferred but not required. The most important qualities are a caring heart, a positive attitude, reliability, and a genuine desire to help someone maintain comfort and independence.
