Caregiver with Heart - Crandon Area
Community Horizons is assisting a member in the Crandon area in finding a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to join their support team. This is a hands-on caregiving position providing full personal care supports. Training is provided, including instruction on performing straight catheterization every four hours.
Schedule:
- 8:30 AM - 11:00 AM
- Afternoon shift (approximately 3.5 to 4 hours)
- 8:30 PM - 11:00 PM
Pay: $23.00/Hour
What a Typical Day Looks Like:
- Assisting the member with getting up and ready for the day
- Providing personal care and catheterization support
- Assisting with meals and medication reminders
- Supporting range of motion (ROM) exercises and physical therapy activities
- Assisting with all activities of daily living
- Sit to Stand to transfer in and out of W/C
Ideal Candidate:

- Must be able to pass caregiver background
- Must be ok with cats
This member is a quadriplegic and requires full assistance throughout the day. Experience with ROM exercises, physical therapy, or personal care is a plus, but we are willing to train the right individual who has a caring attitude and a desire to make a difference.
