Compassionate Support Person Needed in Plover
Do you enjoy short walks, exploring, car reviews, and creating meaningful experiences? Community Horizons is delighted to support a wonderful family in the Plover area as they seek a caring and compassionate caregiver/buddy for their adult son, who has Autism. The goal is to help him stay engaged within the community and at home, while also providing some well-deserved respite for Mom and Dad.
What You’ll Do
· Support home and community activities
· Provide transportation to outings (mileage reimbursed)
· Encourage participation in shared interests like walking, exploring, and car reviews,
· Build a positive, and develop a supportive relationship
· Adapt to his needs and go with the flow
Schedule & Pay
· Weekday afternoons (Schedule is Very Flexible)
· 1-2 days per week
· 2-2.5 hours per day
· $17.50-$18.00/hour
· Mileage reimbursement provided
· PERKS – Discussed at Interview!
· Payroll is handled through a third-party fiscal agent—no money is exchanged in the home
This position is for you if you are:

· Comfortable adapting to different situations
· Interested in similar hobbies and activities
· Experience with Autism is a plus!
Requirements
· Valid driver’s license
· Favorable Wisconsin background check
· Ability to maintain a safe, supportive environment
