Rate: $ 275/per day
A Compassionate, dependable companion is needed for a respite position providing support, companionship, and assistance with daily activities in personal home.
Responsibilities Include:
👉🏼 spending time together watching YouTube, playing games, and enjoying outings in the community
👉🏼Provide companionship and support with daily activities
👉🏼Assisting with meal preparation when needed
👉🏼Supporting communication and adapting to change slowly and talking through them first
👉🏼Encouraging a relaxed, positive environment without pressure or judgement
Ideal Candidate:
👉🏼Must be reliable, patient, open-minded and have dependable transportation.
👉🏼A background in supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities is a plus
👉🏼Must have a non-judgmental, go-with-the-flow attitude and be comfortable adjusting to new routines.
👉🏼Understands the importance of respectful communication, patience, and allowing activities to happen naturally without pushing.
👉🏼Comfortable in a home with a cat.
