Respite Caregiver Needed – As-Needed Position
We are looking for a caring, dependable respite caregiver to provide in-home support for a young boy on the autism spectrum.
This is an as-needed respite position, with scheduling based on the family’s needs and caregiver availability. Overnight shifts available at $246.06 per overnight
About the role:

Provide supervision and companionship in the family’s home

Assist with minor care needs as needed

Help maintain a safe, comfortable environment

Encourage independence while being available when support is needed

Engage in age-appropriate activities and provide a positive, supportive presence
He is a fairly independent young boy who is able to take care of most of his own needs. This position is primarily about supervision, companionship, and providing his parents with some much-needed respite.
The ideal caregiver is patient, responsible, kind, and comfortable working with children on the autism spectrum. Previous experience with autism or special needs is helpful but not necessarily required.
