Community Horizons is assisting a local member in seeking a dependable, caring housekeeper to assist with weekly home upkeep. This position is 5 hours per week, with the member preferring all 5 hours to be completed on the same day. Ideal candidates are reliable, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working independently in a private home.
Key Responsibilities
- General cleaning (dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming)
- Bathroom and kitchen cleaning
- Organization and tidying
- Laundry support as needed
- Maintaining a safe, respectful, and comfortable home environment
- Grocery Shopping
Preferred Qualities
- Dependable and punctual
- Kind, patient, and respectful
- Able to work the full 5‑hour shift on the same day each week
- Experience in housekeeping or home care is helpful but not required
Schedule & Hours
- 5 hours per week
- All hours completed on the same day (day can be discussed during interview)
- Mileage reimbursement
- $16.32/Hour
There is no money exchanged in the home. All payroll is handled by a third‑party fiscal agent.
