Community Horizons is assisting a Nekoosa individual in finding a compassionate, dependable caregiver to support an adult living at home who values independence, dignity, and a calm, respectful environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meaningful one‑on‑one work and wants to make a real difference in someone’s daily life.
Responsibilities
- Help with, light housekeeping, and maintaining a safe, organized home
- Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support
- Follow the individual’s preferred routines and communication style
- Maintain clear, respectful boundaries and uphold person‑centered care values
Qualifications
- Kind, patient, and reliable with strong communication skills
- Colostomy Knowledge
- Able to assist with applying leg wraps
- Able to pass a background check
- Comfortable with hands‑on support
- Okay with cats
