Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Part time

Are you an experienced CNA or retired medical professional looking for meaningful, one-on-one care work? We have an immediate opening for a compassionate and reliable caregiver to support a community member in their home.

Community Horizons is assisting with the recruitment process for this self-directed care opportunity. If you’re looking for less stress, flexible scheduling, and no forced shifts, this could be the perfect fit for you!

This member is extremely independent and is looking for the right professional to assist her in the mornings.  Experience with catheter care, manual transfers and the ability to safely lift 50+ pounds is a must.    

Schedule Options

  • Saturday & Sunday: 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM Scheduled Hours
  • Weekday Day shift backup position also available!
  • Flexible scheduling to fit your lifestyle.

Pay Rate

  • $20 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on personal care
  • Catheter and bowel program care (manual removal)
  • Manual transfers and mobility assistance
  • Wound and skin care
  • Light housekeeping
  • Range of motion exercises
  • Medication reminders

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum age 18+
  • CNA certification required (or current or expired nursing license with relevant experience)
  • At least 1 year of caregiving experience in a hospital or skilled nursing facility
  • Must pass a caregiver background check
  • Reliable transportation (and a backup plan)
  • Dependable, energetic, self-motivated, and organized
  • Able to safely lift 50 lbs
