Location: Nekoosa, WI
Schedule: Part-Time Mon, Wed, Fri 7-9 am,
and every other weekend Sat 9-11am & Sun 8-11am
Wage: $18.58 -$19.00/hr
Are you a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who’s not only compassionate and dependable but also knows how to bring a little joy and laughter to your day? I am a young adult community member living in Nekoosa, and am looking for an experienced caregiver to join my care team in a private-duty, in-home support role.
This isn’t your typical agency job—you’ll be hired directly by me, which means more flexibility, greater autonomy, and the chance to truly connect one-on-one and make a lasting impact.
What You'll Be Doing:
You'll be helping me maintain my independence, dignity, and quality of life right at home. It's all about person-centered care—with a personal touch. If you're someone who loves to brighten someone’s day while delivering top-notch support, this could be a great fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting
- Support safe mobility and transfers (e.g., from bed to wheelchair) slide board experience a plus!
- Prepare simple, nutritious meals
- Light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Accompany me to church on Sundays using the family van
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification in Wisconsin
- Home care experience preferred (but not required)
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented
