In-Home caregiver Needed (Barron, WI)
We are assisting a member in Barron, WI to find the right people to assist him in his home with his daily care needs.
Schedule:
· 2–3-hour shifts in the morning and 2-3-hour shifts in the evening
· Start times are flexible.
Responsibilities:
· Assist with shower, dressing, and toileting assistance
· Lotion legs/feet
· Assist helping get out of bed in the morning and help going to bed in the evening.
· Watch for skin breakdown and make member aware
· Medication reminders
· Hoyer lift transfers for all transfers.
· Once transferred to a motorized wheelchair, the individual is independent
· Provide respectful, compassionate support and companionship
Requirements:
· Experience with Hoyer lifts (Willing to train)
· Caring, patient, and dependable
· Comfortable providing personal care tasks
· Positive attitude and good communication skills
· Prior caregiving experience preferred
Pay is $23-$31 an hour based on experience
Individual Overview:
This individual is a fun, outgoing, and caring gentleman with a great personality who is easy to talk to and enjoys social interactions. He values respectful, compassionate care. A good sense of humor is a plus.
