After school care for 9-year-old boy needed.
Transportation from school to home and supervision for after school hours (Monday-Friday)
This is a part-time role with an opportunity to make a REAL impact on the life of an amazing child.
Previous childcare with special needs preferred but open and willing to train the RIGHT person!
HOURS: 3:00pm-6:30pm
JOB TASKS:
Provide dependable transportation from school to home
Engage member in activities of choice and opportunities to learn
Provide safety and supervision
Provide redirection as behavioral challenges arise
Prepare after school snacks
Requirements:
Previous experience working with children with autism and or special needs
A compassionate, patient and understanding attitude
Remain calm under pressure
Must have a current driver's license and dependable transportation
Must be reliable, mature and responsible
Wage:
* Pay rate will be discussed further during phone screen*
A background check is required for this role prior to employment starting
