Do you have a calm, positive attitude and enjoy helping others succeed? A member in Maiden Rock, WI is looking for a dependable caregiver through the Self-Directed Supports (SDS) program who can provide encouragement, companionship, and gentle redirection throughout the day.
📍 Location: Maiden Rock, WI
💲 Pay: $17.00–$18.25 per hour
🕒 Hours: 8 hours per week (flexible), preferably on Thursdays
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is patient, understanding, and enjoys building meaningful relationships while helping a member stay engaged, safe, and as independent as possible.
Responsibilities:
💙 Provide companionship through conversation, games, and shared activities
🎯 Offer frequent reminders, encouragement, and gentle redirection to help the member stay focused and on task
🚶 Support community outings and enjoyable activities
🏡 Assist with light housekeeping and daily routines
🚗 Provide occasional transportation to appointments and community events
We’re Looking for Someone Who Is:
✔️ Patient, kind, and dependable
✔️ Comfortable providing frequent verbal prompts and redirection in a positive, respectful manner
✔️ Friendly, outgoing, and enjoys one-on-one interaction
✔️ Comfortable around dogs 🐶
✔️ Has reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
✔️ Committed to supporting the member’s independence while following their preferences
