Are you looking for a position that combines caregiving, community involvement, and fun activities? A friendly, active adult in the Plover area is seeking a dependable person to join his support team and assist him in living an engaged, community-centered life.
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys building relationships, being involved in community activities, and helping another person participate safely and comfortably in everyday life.
Schedule
Current available hours include:
- Tuesday & Wednesday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Additional overnight hours may also be available.
Position Responsibilities
Support needs vary throughout the day and may include:
- Assisting with transfers using an overhead lift system
- Supporting G-tube feedings and medication routines
- Providing assistance with personal care tasks
- Helping maintain a safe and organized home environment
- Driving a wheelchair-accessible van to appointments, activities, and outings
- Encouraging participation in social, recreational, and community events
Qualifications
Applicants should:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Pass a caregiver background check
- Hold a valid driver's license and maintain auto insurance
- Be dependable, patient, and respectful
- Be comfortable providing hands-on support
- Enjoy an active, social environment
Previous caregiving experience is helpful but not required. Training will be provided for individuals who are willing to learn.

This is a direct-hire position in a private home setting. Community Horizons is assisting with recruitment on behalf of the employer. Applicants whose experience and availability match the position will be contacted by a Support Broker to discuss next steps.

About Me- Tell your story
This is a unique one-on-one position supporting an individual who enjoys getting out and staying busy. Favorite activities include attending local events, fishing, bowling, walks in area parks, board games, mini golf, and following sports such as NASCAR and Monster Jam. He also participates in adaptive recreation throughout the year, including bowling, track, and bocce ball.
