About the position

This member utilizes assistance from Community Horizons to find passionate and dependable staff, in their home of Melrose, WI. Member uses respite care, partial tube feeding, Hoyer Lift for transfers, and an adaptive bowel system. If you are unfamiliar with any of this, need not worry. Full paid training is provided. If you enjoy quiet 1/1 time and providing a helping hand that allows for comfortable daily living, look no further!

 

What you'll do

 

~Use Hoyer Lift to transfer

~Assist with tube feeding along with a regular diet

~Assist with Trach suction/Ventilator for respite care

~Use digital bowel system

~Companionship care

~Other tasks as needed

 

Pay- Starting at $16.32

 

Schedule- Every other Thursday-Sunday 3rd shift. Shifts are also PRN (as needed)

Thursdays 6p - 7a

Friday and Saturdays 7p - 7a

Sundays 7p – 6a

 

Ideal Candidate

Ø  Comfortable with dogs (1 dog)

Ø  Compassionate and patient

Ø  Reliable

Ø  Enjoys quiet 1/1 time

Ø  Adaptive equipment experience, if none, will train the right person

About Me- Tell your story

A young man, who lives at home with family, is looking for some help. You can find him keeping busy with work from home, or enjoying time on the internet, as well as time spent with his mom. He is looking for overnight care and assistance with morning/evening cares. His home is also a dog friendly home.
