Looking for a more personal approach to caregiving?
An individual in the Stratford/Marshfield area is looking for an experienced CNA or former nursing professional to provide dependable, one-on-one support in a private home. This is a direct-care position for someone who is confident with hands-on care, works well independently, and takes pride in doing things correctly.
Rather than working with multiple patients in a facility, you'll provide consistent care to one individual and become familiar with their routines, preferences, and needs. Professionalism, discretion, reliability, and strong clinical skills are extremely important in this position.
Current available hours include:
- Weekdays: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Weekends: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Rate of pay: $20.00/hour
This is a hands-on position with responsibilities that may include:
- Assisting with personal care, bathing, dressing, and hygiene
- Catheter care and related routines
- Providing assistance with a bowel program, including manual evacuation
- Performing manual transfers and mobility assistance- must be able to lift 50lbs
- Completing range-of-motion exercises
- Monitoring skin and assisting with wound care
- Providing medication reminders
- Helping with basic household tasks
- Driving the individual's personal vehicle when needed
Because of the physical nature of the position, applicants must be capable of safely completing manual transfers and lifting 50+ pounds when required.
Experience We're Looking For
This position requires someone who already has a solid foundation in hands-on patient care. It is not an entry-level CNA position.
Candidates should have:
- Current CNA certification or previous nursing licensure with applicable hands-on experience
- At least one year of experience in a hospital, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or similar clinical setting
- Confidence performing hands-on personal care and physical transfers
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Good judgment and attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and follow established routines
- Reliable transportation and a dependable backup transportation plan
- A valid driver's license and ability to maintain appropriate auto insurance
- Ability to successfully complete a caregiver background check

Direct Employment
This is a private, direct-hire position. The individual receiving care is the employer, and you will work directly for them rather than through a home health agency or facility.
