Job Description

 

Community Horizons is assisting a local member to find a friendly, compassionate, and reliable person to provide care in their home setting. As a staff member, you would help with light cooking and cleaning, as well as personal assistance for mornings, mid-day, or evenings.                                                                                                                                             

Member utilizes Self-Directed services which empowers independence and freedom of choice

 

Pay Rate

$18-20 per hour - Part-time

 

Duties Include (but not limited to)

 

-Light meal prepping

-Assistance with bathroom routine

-Transfer assistance

-Light housekeeping

-Companionship

 

 

*No care giving experience required, training provided

 

 

Schedule

 

Part-time flexible hours-

Weekend split shifts for AM, Mid-day, & PM shifts (typically 1-2 hours each)

About Me- Tell your story

This local member uses a wheelchair and other adaptive equipment, along with support staff in her Tomah, WI home. This is someone who enjoys friendly conversation and will easily share a smile. She also uses her free time to knit, and watch things like baseball games. She is independent with a lot and needs assistance to set things up for her to make her independence possible and easier.
