Hi! I'm a Wisconsin Rapids community member looking for a caring, dependable person to provide one-on-one support in my home. If you're someone who brings kindness, positivity, and maybe even a little humor to your day, I'd love to hear from you.
This is not an agency position. You would be hired directly by me, which means more flexibility, greater independence, and the opportunity to build a meaningful working relationship while making a real difference in my life.
Location: Wisconsin Rapids, East Side near Baker St
Schedule: Bedtime Shifts, approximately 1 hour each evening around 10:30 PM. Shifts are available 7 days per week and the number of nights is flexible.
Wage: $16.32/hour
What You'll Be Doing
Your support will help me maintain my independence, dignity, and quality of life in my own home. I value person-centered care and appreciate someone who is compassionate, reliable, and committed to helping me live as independently as possible.
Responsibilities
- Assist me with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming to get ready for bed
- Help with safe transfers, including using a Hoyer lift to transfer me between my wheelchair and bed
Qualifications
- Home care experience is preferred but not required
- Reliability is very important
- I am willing to train the right person
- Ability to pass a caregiver background check
