Community Horizons is assisting a Sugar Camp gentleman in looking for a compassionate and energetic Respite Provider to deliver vital short-term care and support to an individual with diverse needs, including developmental disabilities, such as autism. In this role, you will provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment that allows primary caregivers to take well-deserved breaks. Your dedication will help enhance the quality of life for those in your care while ensuring their safety and well-being through attentive monitoring and personalized support. Responsibilities

• Provide attentive supervision and support for individuals during scheduled respite periods, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Support medication administration following care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to individual dietary needs, ensuring proper food handling and cleanliness standards are met.
• May need to remind to shower
• Doing activities
• Going to the gym

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder
• Transportation
• Valid License

This is a respite position for when the main caregivers are wanting to go on a trip or get some time to themselves. The hours are as needed.
