Companion / In-Home Support Position (Part-Time)

We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and compassionate female companion to provide light in-home support and assistance for an independent adult. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, keeping a tidy space, and offering friendly conversation.

Position Details

• Hours: Approximately 6.5 hours per week

• Schedule: Flexible

• Wage: $16.32/hour

• Location: In-home support (local errands included)

• Transportation: Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (up to ~40 miles/month for errands and appointments)

Responsibilities

• Light housekeeping:

  • Cleaning the kitchen

  • Vacuuming

  • Sweeping/mopping

  • Laundry (not done in-home)

• Making the bed and changing linens

• Assistance with grocery shopping and errands

• Providing companionship and conversation

• Maintaining a calm, respectful, and organized environment

• Female applicant preferred

• Motivated and dependable

• Open-minded and conversational

• Reliable and trustworthy

• Minimal cell phone use while working

• Comfortable in a cat-friendly home

• Comfortable with casual, cross-dressing expression in the household

Additional Information

• Individual is largely independent

• Support broker involvement available if needed

• Assistance with new-hire paperwork will be provided
