Community Horizons is assisting a family with finding the perfect caregiver for their 44 year old daughter that is living in the home with them. They are looking for a kind, dependable Personal Care Assistant to join her support team. She follows a calm, steady routine and is hoping to welcome someone who brings not only hands on help, but also genuine companionship and caring presence.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys quiet one on one time, conversation, music, reading, and simple crafts, and enjoys having fun and joking around. If you’re patient, reliable, and enjoy meaningful work, this is a wonderful opportunity to make a real difference.
Schedule
• Monday–Thursday: 4:00 PM – 8:30 PM
• Saturdays: 7am to 11am or 9am to 1pm
• Pay: $16.32 per hour
What You’ll Do
• Assist with daily routines and personal care
• Support with tube feedings and medications (full training provided)
• Use a Hoyer lift for safe, comfortable transfers
• Help keep her home tidy and welcoming
• Provide companionship, encouragement, and a steady, friendly presence
• Go outside when weather is permitting for walks or just to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine.
