Are you looking for a caregiving role that’s short, sweet, and genuinely rewarding? I’m searching for a reliable, kind-hearted caregiver to support the most important bookends of my day—peaceful morning wake-ups and relaxing evening wind-downs. These shifts are all about calm, cozy routines, consistency, and connection (with room for a few smiles and laughs along the way).

This is a backup position, perfect for someone who enjoys one-on-one care, appreciates predictable routines, and loves making a difference in just a couple of hours.

Schedule

Backup Shifts Only
Potential shifts:  approximately 8:00–10:00 AM and/or 8:00–10:00 PM
Available Monday–Sunday, as needed (hours are not guaranteed)

Pay: $17.35/hour

How you’ll help

  • Light tidying to keep the space feeling comfortable and fresh
  • Assistance with dressing and undressing
  • Personal care and hygiene support
  • Sit-to-stand transfers, I will train if needed
  • Preparing simple meals or snacks

You’ll be a great fit if you

  • Are dependable, detail-oriented, and friendly
  • Feel comfortable following routines with minimal supervision
  • Are 18+ and able to pass a background check
  • Have caregiving experience and a positive, upbeat attitude
  • Are pet-friendly (I share my home with two very sweet cats 🐾)

This position continues through summer break, so you’ll need to be living in the Stevens Point area over the summer. Additional hours may be available during that time.

This is direct in-home care—no agencies, no facilities, no mandating. Just meaningful work with a real person who values stability, respect, and genuine connection.
