Youth Respite Caregiver – Oshkosh

Pay: $14.25–$14.42 per hour
Schedule:

• Tuesdays: 12 PM–4 PM
• Thursdays: 12 PM–5 PM
• Fridays: Flexible between 7 AM–4 PM

Community Horizons is seeking a CNA Respite Caregiver to support a sweet, energetic 2‑year‑old boy with Spina Bifida. He’s cute, curious, and full of personality — and he needs someone who can keep up with his smiles, his music jams, and his love for anything involving balls.

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a hands-on, interactive caregiving role where you’ll support him through his daily routine, including:

• Administering medications
• Assisting with oxygen as needed
• Staying calm and confident during occasional seizures
• Using a pulse oximeter (mom will provide training!)
• Helping him settle in for nap time
• Preparing and giving snacks after nap
• Diaper changes and personal care
• Engaging him in play — especially anything with balls or music
• Encouraging communication through his few words and signs

He crawls but does not walk yet, and he’s non-verbal — but he absolutely knows how to connect, communicate, and charm the people around him.
