Are you a caring, dependable individual who brings warmth, positivity, and maybe even a little humor to your workday? A Wisconsin Rapids community member is seeking a dedicated caregiver to provide one-on-one, private in-home support.
This is not your typical agency role—you’ll be hired directly by the individual, giving you more flexibility, greater independence, and the opportunity to build a meaningful connection while making a lasting difference in someone’s life.
Location: Wisconsin Rapids, WI
Schedule: Part-Time
Bedtime Shifts:
· Tuesdays and Thursdays
· Approx. 1 hour each evening around 10:30pm
PLUS…
Every Other Weekend:
· Morning Shift: Approx. 3 hours, 7-10am
· Afternoon/Early Evening Shift: Approx. 1.5 hours between 4-6pm
· Bedtime Shift: Approx. 1 hour around 10:30pm
Wage: $16.32/hr
What You'll Be Doing:
You'll help the member maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life right at home. It's all about person-centered care—with a personal touch. If you're someone who loves to brighten someone’s day while delivering top-notch support, this could be a great fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming
- Support safe transfers (e.g., from bed to wheelchair) using a hoyer lift
Qualifications
- Home care experience preferred (but not required), employer is willing to train the right candidate
- Reliability is a must!
- Will train the right person
