Job Overview
Amazing member in Merrill, WI is seeking to hire a dependable Community Based Care Aide. This position will work as needed to assist, member with personal care, support and housekeeping duties.
This is a wonderful way to help someone in the community of Merrill and supplement your income!

The ideal candidates will be reliable, trustworthy and passionate about caregiving and preferably live in Merrill WI.

Responsibilities/Tasks:
- Assist member with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation, use of commode
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of the member
- Administer medications as prescribed
- Assist with mobility including heavy lifting/pushing and pulling when necessary throughout the home with use of Hoyer lift or sit to stand
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for member by performing housekeeping duties and laundry and linen changes
Preferred Candidate Qualities:
- Previous experience in caregiving or home care is highly preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges
- Compassionate nature with strong communication skills to build a trusting rapport/relationship with the member
- Previous use of a Hoyer lift/Sit to stand is helpful
Requirements: Must be reliable and have dependable transportation to get to and from the job
Must be at least 18 years old to apply
A background check is required before employment can begin
Schedule: On call for day and evening shifts as needed
Wage for this role: $17.00/HR
