Hi! I’m a 58-year-old woman living independently in my own home, and I’m looking for two caregivers to join my support team — one for weekday overnights and one for weekend daytime hours. I’m educated, witty, and value real conversation, mutual respect, and a calm, comfortable home.
I’m legally blind and live with MS, but I’m very independent and know what works for me. I’m hoping to find someone who is confident, open-minded, and genuinely invested in me — not just the paycheck. Having a backbone matters, but so does kindness and knowing how to stand up for someone without creating conflict.
Available Positions
The overnight shifts are asleep positions. Once evening tasks are completed and I’m settled in bed, you’re able to sleep, with occasional availability if needed.
Pay
During your shifts, you’ll help with light personal care, medication reminders, meal preparation, wheelchair support, and keeping my home comfortable. You may also assist with cleaning and rebandaging a wound when needed (training provided). I love sci-fi and enjoy being read to, and I value good conversation just as much as quiet companionship.
Meals prepared for me are shared with you, and this home is treated as your home while you’re here. I appreciate caregivers who are competent, attentive, and truly present.
I’m looking for someone 18 or older, experienced or willing to learn, open-minded, comfortable with cats, and not intimidated by age or disability. Most importantly, I want someone who is invested in me, not just filling hours.
If you’re looking for meaningful caregiving work in a respectful, relaxed home, I’d love to connect.
Please apply if you’re interested in weekday overnights, weekend daytime hours.
