A wonderful family in the Appleton, WI area is eagerly seeking a part-time, in-home caregiver for their granddaughter with disabilities. This position is vital in supporting this young girl and her family to continue to thrive in their home and community.
The ideal candidate for this position is comfortable providing hands-on personal care assistance and working with an individual who is non-verbal.
Please note that this is a pet-friendly home. - no care for the animals
Schedule: The family is hoping to find someone who can work between 10 hours a week. The hours for this position are very flexible, and the family is open to discussing availability offered. Bonus points if you have flexibility in your schedule for last-minute needs.
Pay: $17.97/hour
Job Tasks:
- Assisting with personal care tasks such as incontinence care, showing her how to grow and learn age-appropriate independence, and provide safety and supervision.
- Assistance with engaging in meaningful activities within the home and going for walks.
- Provide supervision.
