Hours: Wednesdays and every other weekend from 9 AM to 5 PM
Compensation: $20 per hour
This position is ideal for a compassionate caregiver seeking a unique opportunity.
In this role you will be providing in-home care for an individual at his residence which is located approximately 20-30 minutes from Sturgeon Bay, depending on tourist traffic.
Entry-level caregivers are encouraged to apply! This position offers an excellent opportunity to acquire new skills.
Training will be provided by both the client and their long-time caregiver.
Responsibilities include:
- Assistance with showering
- Ostomy care (training provided)
- Catheter care (emptying the bag)
- Dressing assistance
- Hair care
- Nail care
- Skin checks
- Meal preparation
- Housekeeping duties (including laundry, changing linens, and cleaning up after cooking)
A valid driver's license is required. A vehicle will be provided, but the selected caregiver will be responsible for driving.
