In-Home Caregiver Position- Full Assist/ All shifts (Somerset WI)
We are assisting in the recruitment to find reliable and compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one care for an individual requiring full assistance with daily needs. He lives in Somerset, WI.
Schedule:
· Morning shift: 9:00AM-3:00PM
· Evening shift: 3:00PM-8:00PM
· Overnight shift: 8:00PM-9:00AM
· Days to work are flexible-Part of Full-time hours available
· Pay is $20.00 an hour
Responsibilities:
· Full assistance with all ADL’S (Bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
· Sit-to-Stand for all transfers
· Assist with medication administration
· Use and monitor oxygen machine
· Repositioning as required to prevent skin breakdown
· Housecleaning tasks
Requirements:
· Experience with ALS or similar
· Must be comfortable with full assist cares
· Dependable, patient, and attentive
· Experience preferred
Individual Overview:
The individual is a sweet and kind gentleman living with ALS who requires full assistance with daily cares. Communication can occasionally be difficult due to the oxygen mask he wears. Patience and attentiveness are important. He is continent and requires assistance with all transfers using a sit-to-stand. He follows a regular diet but needs full assistance with feeding. Full assistance is also required for medication administration.
