I am an active young adult male with autism, living in Junction City, WI. I’m looking for a warm, reliable, and upbeat Weekend Companion & Activity Support Person to spend time with me. I love to be on-the-go and get out in the community. If you’re someone who enjoys building genuine connections and making a positive difference, I’d love to hear from you!
This is a direct hire position, meaning you’ll work directly with me and my family—not through an agency. That allows for a more personal connection, flexible scheduling, and a supportive environment where your time, care, and energy are truly appreciated. This role is a great fit for students, retirees, caregivers, or anyone looking for meaningful part-time weekend work.
Schedule
- Weekends: Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday
- Up to 9 hours per weekend
- Flexible scheduling! We’re happy to work together to create a schedule that fits your availability—even if you only have a few hours one day.
Pay
- $15.00 per hour
- $0.35 per mile reimbursement for outings
What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing transportation to and from community activities
- Offering supervision and friendly companionship while out and about
- Assisting with prescribed medications
- Giving gentle reminders for personal care
- Preparing and supporting meals based on dietary needs
You’ll Be a Great Fit If You:
- Are active and enjoy being on the go
- Feel confident and aren’t easily intimidated
- Have knowledge of seizures (or are willing to learn)
- Are familiar with Autism
- Have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle
- Are comfortable around pets and have no allergies
- Have a friendly, patient, and positive personality
