Looking for a part-time evening position where you can provide meaningful, one-on-one support? A private individual in rural Marshfield is seeking a dependable, respectful person to assist with their nighttime care routine.
This role is a good fit for someone who is comfortable providing hands-on personal care, follows instructions carefully, and understands the importance of privacy, dignity, and consistency.
Schedule & Pay
- Monday–Thursday, 9:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m.
- Pay: $20 per hour
Responsibilities
Assistance will be needed with the following nighttime care tasks:
- Helping with transfers and getting into bed using a lift.
- Assisting with undressing and preparing for bed.
- Providing catheter care, including cleaning and bandaging the catheter port.
- Washing the lower body, including perineal care.
- Assisting with wound care and dressing changes according to established instructions.
- Helping with range-of-motion exercises as directed.
Who Would Be a Good Fit?
The ideal candidate is dependable, patient, attentive to detail, and comfortable providing personal care. Because this position involves catheter care and wound care, applicants should be willing and able to follow specific care instructions and maintain appropriate hygiene and infection-control practices.
Previous caregiving or healthcare experience is beneficial. Applicants should be comfortable learning and consistently following the individual's established care routines.
About the Position
This is a direct-hire position within a private household, not an agency or facility placement. The individual receiving care selects and employs the selected worker directly, allowing for a consistent working relationship and individualized support.
