This is a direct hire caregiver role with no agency involvement.

Responsibilities-

Assist me with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
Transport me to and from my day service program on weekdays
Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for changes in condition
Prepare nutritious meals in accordance with my dietary needs and assist me during mealtimes/snacks
Teach and support me with learning new skills and gaining confidence
Provide community integration opportunities based on my interests and abilities
Maintain a clean, safe home environment through regular cleaning and household tasks
Provide emotional support and companionship to promote my mental well-being and build a trusting connection

Experience I Prefer: 

Experience working with adults with disabilities, non-verbal individuals as well as behavioral issues a PLUS
A compassionate, patient, energetic approach to caregiving
Strong communication skills
Must be reliable and committed to the job
Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation to transport to and from activities
A background check is required before employment can begin and must be 18 years old to apply

Schedule/Hours:

- Monday–Thursday, 2:00 pm– 9:45 am (overnights)

- Friday at 2:00 pm through Monday at 9:45am (overnights)

- Additional daytime hours may be available-information available upon interview 

- Flexible scheduling options—choose shifts that fit your lifestyle 

- Both day and overnight shifts available

Wage

$16.50 per hour for dayshift- plus a mileage reimbursement of .35 per mile, overnight shifts offer a flat rate stipend of $50.75 (7 hours)
