This individual has a fun personality and a wide range of interests. From NASCAR and Monster Jam to fishing, bowling, mini-golf, board games, and walks in the park, there is always something to look forward to! He also enjoys spending time with friends and participating in adaptive sports, including track, bowling, and bocce ball.
The right person will help him participate in the activities he enjoys while providing the daily assistance he needs at home and in the community.

Additional overnight hours may also be available. The schedule can be discussed during the hiring process to clarify available shifts and scheduling needs.

The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, patient, and comfortable working one-on-one with another person. You should enjoy being involved in activities and be willing to learn the hands-on skills needed for the position.
Requirements include:
Previous caregiving experience is helpful but not required. Training will be provided for the specific care routines and equipment used in this home. You do not need to know everything on day one, but you should be comfortable learning and following instructions.
Employment Details
This is a private, one-on-one support position. The individual receiving services or his representative selects and hires the worker directly through Wisconsin’s self-directed support system. Community Horizons is assisting with recruitment and the hiring process; the caregiver is not employed by Community Horizons.
