Community Horizons is assisting a local member in finding a compassionate, easygoing caregiver for in-home overnight care. This can be a sleeping shift, with support available as needed. I’m seeking an easy going attitude that wants help me with daily living.
The member is enrolled in Self Directive services and looking to hire someone who is comfortable working with individuals diagnosed with MS.
Hours available Saturdays 9PM-6AM (pick up or back up hours may also be available)
Duties include but are not limited to
Light housekeeping
Catheter care (super pube catheter)
Bathroom assistance (using ceiling hoyer)
Laundry
Wound care
The ideal applicant
Laid back personality, I have a dry sense of humor!
Comfortable working in a private home
Comfortable working with ceiling lifts/hoyers
Some knowledge of wound care (training is available)
Comfortable with catheter care (training is available)
Comfortable with pets in the home(cats)
Reliable and dependable is a must!
