🧡 About the Position:
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate caregiver to support an older adult living independently at home. This is a self-directed position, meaning the individual receiving care helps choose their caregiver and directs their own services.
🧹 Responsibilities Include:
- General housekeeping (vacuuming, sweeping, mopping)
- Kitchen and bathroom cleaning
- Laundry and light organizing
- Occasional deep cleaning (every few months)
- Completing tasks as needed around the home
🕒 Schedule Details:
- 2 hours per week
- Flexible days
- Preferred start time: after 12 PM
- Latest end time: before 4 PM
🧠 About the Individual:
- Older adult with dementia and hearing impairment
- Enjoys football and car races
- Has a friendly dog in the home
✅ Ideal Candidate:
- Patient, calm, and dependable
- Comfortable working in a home with a dog
- Some cleaning/housekeeping experience preferred
- Able to follow direction from the individual
- Driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
