Job Summary
Wausau man is seeking a compassionate and proactive Special Needs Care Coordinator to join his care team in providing personal cares and housekeeping, community integration activities.
Responsibilities
- Assist member with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming
- Transport member to and from his day service program as needed
- Administer medications as prescribed
- Prepare nutritious meals in accordance with dietary needs and assist member during mealtimes/snacks
- Support member with learning new skills
- Provide community integration opportunities based on the member's interests and abilities
- Maintain a clean, safe home environment through regular cleaning and household tasks
- Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being of the member and build a trusting connection
- Observe member for changes in condition
Experience
- Experience working with adults with disabilities, non-verbal individuals as well as behavioral issues a PLUS
- A compassionate, patient, energetic approach to caregiving
- Strong communication skills
- Reliability is a must
- Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation to transport the member
- A background check is required before employment can begin and must be 18 years old to apply
Hours:
Monday-Thursday 3:00pm-8:30am
Friday 3:00pm- Monday 8:30am

Both day and night shifts are available
Wage: $16.50 per hour for dayshift- plus a mileage reimbursement of .35 per mile, overnight shifts offer a stipend of $50.75
