Here in the Kaukauna area, a loving family is seeking to find a caregiver for their 16-year-old son with Intellectual disabilities. The caregiver in this position would be helping this 16-year-old with mentoring and taking him to fun activities in the community This is a chance to make a real impact while having fun outside and building a meaningful connection.

Schedule:
- 15-30 a week
- Monday-Saturday Flexible schedule
Wage:
- $17.98
Job tasks:
- Clean, organize, and maintain a child’s bedroom.
- Spot clean bathroom (surface cleaning, take out garbage, replace toilet paper, etc.)
- Provide transportation to and from outings.
- Engage in de-escalating tactics as needed.
- Provide 1:1 supervision.
- Provide a safe space for community exploration.
Requirements:
- Driver's license
- Reliable vehicle- willing to use personal vehicle to provide transportation (local travel only).
- Experience working with adults or children with complex needs (Mental health, Developmental disabilities, Autism, ADHD, ODD, Etc.)
- Willingness to learn and accept coaching.
- Ability to pass a Wisconsin Caregiving Background Check.
- Proven dependability.
- Committed to providing care for children and adults with special needs.
(Please note that this is a cat-friendly and dog-friendly home. There are also various caged critters in the home. No care is needed, but it is important to note for those with allergies or fears.
