I’m looking for a back up caregiver/companion who is kind, dependable, and enjoys spending time with people. I’m a very laid-back person and easy to get along with. I appreciate someone who is friendly, caring, and enjoys good conversation. You will be helping me in my home on the north side of Stevens Point, near Sentry Insurance.

Schedule: 8 AM – 10 AM & 8 PM – 10 PM | Every day (Monday – Sunday), backup hours. Possibility for one scheduled weekend per month rotation. Can discuss in interview.

Pay: $17.35/hour

About Me

I’m pretty simple and relaxed. I enjoy the little things in life and like to laugh and have fun. Some things I enjoy include:

• Watching TV—especially Hallmark, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and The Golden Girls
• Listening to music (I’m a big fan of 80’s music, and artists like Bon Jovi, OneRepublic, Imagine Dragons, Florida Georgia Line, and Yungblud)
• Playing cards
• Shopping
• Spending time with animals (I have two cats)
• Getting outside when the weather is warm

I love kids, enjoy chatting, and like to giggle and laugh. I’m looking for someone with a bubbly personality who enjoys conversation and companionship.

Responsibilities

Your role would include a mix of companionship and light caregiving, such as:

• Help with cooking and light cleaning
• Preparing healthy meals that I can reheat later
• Companionship and conversation
• Assisting with sit-to-stand transfers and getting out of bed
• Brief changes
• Occasional sponge baths (helping with areas I can’t reach myself—I can do much of it independently)
• Hair washing in the sink
• Helping with socks and shoes on appointment days
• Going for short walks outside when it’s warm
• Light cleaning and laundry

You’re a Great Fit If You:

• Are dependable, detail-oriented, and friendly
• Are 18+ and able to pass a background check
• Have previous caregiving experience or are willing to learn, and a naturally upbeat personality
• Are pet-friendly (there are two cats in the home)
