I am seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNA (or retired nursing professional) to provide one-on-one care for me in my home in Marshfield, WI. You will be working directly for me as your employer.
I am extremely independent and value professionalism, discretion, and clinical competence. I am looking for a mature, respectful caregiver who understands boundaries, communicates clearly, and takes pride in providing high-quality care in a private setting.
This is not an entry-level role. Experience and confidence with the responsibilities listed below are essential.
Schedule
Every Other Saturday & Sunday: 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM (scheduled hours)
Weekday daytime backup hours are also available
Pay Rate
$20 per hour
Required Skills & Responsibilities
· Hands-on personal care
· Catheter care
· Bowel program care (manual removal)
· Manual transfers and mobility assistance
· Ability to safely lift 50+ pounds
· Wound and skin care
· Range of motion exercises
· Medication reminders
· Light housekeeping
Qualifications
· Minimum age 18+
· CNA certification required (or current/expired nursing license with relevant experience)
· At least 1 year of experience in a hospital or skilled nursing facility
· Must pass a caregiver background check
· Reliable transportation (with backup plan)
· Dependable, organized, and self-motivated
This role requires someone who is clinically capable, physically strong, emotionally steady, and consistently professional. Confidentiality and respect are not optional — they are expected.
