Community Horizons is seeking to find a full-time/ Part-time Caregiver to help our member out of his own home. This caregiver would be helping this gentleman with bathing, peri care, catheter care, ostomy care, meal prep, housekeeping, etc. This gentleman is quadriplegic, so some experience in the healthcare field would go a long way, but if you’re new to the field, we are eager to hear from you.
For individuals who don’t know where Egg Harbor is, it is located approximately 20-30 minutes from Sturgeon Bay, WI
Location:
- Egg Harbor, WI
Shift:
- Monday-Friday and every other weekend
- 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Wage:
- Will be discussed in a phone screen
Job Duties:
- Assist with Personal care (Bathing, showering, Peri care, etc.)
- Ostomy Care (Training Provided)
- Catheter Care (Training Provided)
- Assist with Dressing
- Skin Checks, Hair and Nail care
- Meal Preparation
- Medication administration
- Feeding
- Transfers using a Ceiling Hoyer
- Light housekeeping (laundry, sweeping, dishes, etc.)
Member’s requirements:
- Driver's license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle to get to work in
- Able to pass a Wisconsin Caregiver Background Check
- Have integrity
- Have initiative
- Be reliable
- Dependable and Honest
- A desire to provide the best care possible
