Job description:
Are you a patient, reliable caregiver who enjoys meaningful member centered work and longer shifts that gives you freedom on other days?
A member located in Merrill is seeking to find a compassionate and reliable, caregiver to work 2 days per week in his personal home. This role will provide a high level of specialized care, provide companionship and support.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who has a real passion for caregiving and truly wants to make a difference in another life!
Tasks of this role include:
- Administer medication as prescribed
- Incontinence care and hygiene
- Provide range of motion exercises daily
- Repositioning the member throughout the shift
- Transfer with the use of a Hoyer lift as needed
- Provide companionship and support for emotional well -being of the member
Qualifications:
- Must have a patient, compassionate approach to caregiving
- Reliability and dedication are a must
- Previous caregiving experience is a plus but willing to train the RIGHT person
- Pet friendly (there are pets present within the home)
- The ability to provide excellent member focused care
Schedule:
Monday & Fridays 6:00am-6:00pm
Compensation:
$19.82 per hour
Must be 18 years old to apply
