Job Overview
Fantastic member in Merrill, WI is seeking to hire a Back Up PCW. This position will work as needed to assist, member with personal care, support and housekeeping duties.
This is a wonderful way to help someone in the community of Merrill!
(This is an as needed on-call position with no guaranteed hours)
The ideal candidates will be reliable, trustworthy and passionate about caregiving and preferably live in Merrill WI.

Responsibilities/Tasks:
- Assist member with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of the member
- Administer medications as prescribed
- Assist with mobility including heavy lifting/pushing and pulling when necessary throughout the home
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for member by performing housekeeping duties and laundry and linen changes
Preferred Candidate Qualities:
- Previous experience in caregiving or home care is highly preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges
- Compassionate nature with strong communication skills to build a trusting rapport/relationship with the member
Requirements: Must be reliable and have dependable transportation to get to and from the job
Must be at least 18 years old to apply
A background check is required before employment can begin
Schedule: On call for day and evening shifts as needed
Wage: $17.00 per hour

I am a male member who resides in Merrill, WI. I have a care team but would like to hire an on call/back up caregiver who can step in when staff call in or have a day off.
I would prefer an experienced caregiver but am open training someone if they have a desire to learn and grow.
