Community Horizons is partnering with a Shawano area neighbor to find a compassionate and dependable Overnight Caregiver to provide personalized care in their home. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the life of a community member while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a supportive environment.
Position Details
- Wage: $16.32/hour
- Schedule:
- Tuesdays – 8:00 PM to 4:30 AM
- Fridays – 8:00 PM to 4:30 AM
- Saturdays – 8:00 PM to 4:30 AM
- Sundays – 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Every other weekend: Saturday & Sunday – 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Safe transfers using a Hoyer lift
- Showering assistance (2 days per week) and daily sponge baths
- Dressing and personal care support
- Medication administration
- Emptying urinals and providing colostomy care
- Light cooking, cleaning, and laundry
- Running errands and driving a wheelchair-accessible van (valid driver’s license required)
