Caregiver Needed – Part-Time

We are seeking a reliable, kind, and patient Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one support for an adult male in a calm, structured home environment.

Schedule & Pay

• Hours: Approximately 8 hours per week

• Preferred Hours: Daytime / flexible scheduling

• Pay: $17.50-18.70 per hour (daily rate available depending on schedule)

Ideal Candidate

• Calm, patient, and dependable

• Good sense of humor

• Enjoys outdoor activities

• Comfortable providing gentle prompts and structure

• Able to maintain a quiet, predictable environment

• Must be dog-friendly

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities and some appointments

• Provide light housekeeping (keeping member area clean and organized)

• Encourage outdoor walks and light activity

• Offer reminders and prompts as needed

• Support routines and personal structure

• Provide companionship and positive social interaction

Client Overview

• Calm and quiet individual

• Has a good sense of humor

• Not aggressive; prefers a peaceful environment

• Large property available for outdoor walks and activities

Requirements

• Reliable transportation

• Ability to pass required background checks

• Experience in caregiving or support services preferred (but not required)

• Must be punctual and dependable
