This position is for someone who wants to pick up occasional, unscheduled shifts rather than commit to a weekly routine. Support is provided in a quiet private home for an adult who benefits from calm, respectful assistance. The home includes a few friendly cats.
Pay
$16.32 per hour
Shift Timing
Backup coverage may be needed in the early mornings between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM and in the evenings between 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM. These shifts are offered only when the regular caregiver is unavailable and may be scheduled in advance or requested on short notice.
Role Overview
You will assist with daily routines and provide steady companionship while helping maintain comfort and organization within the home. Training is provided and no heavy lifting is required.
Typical Support May Include
• Assistance with dressing and basic hygiene
• Support with morning and bedtime routines
• Preparing simple meals and snacks
• Light household tidying
• Offering calm, respectful companionship
Who This Role Is For

• Dependable and flexible

• Willing to learn hands-on care routines
• Able to pass a background check
• Reliable transportation
Training and guidance are provided, including instruction on use of a mechanical lift.
