Caregiving Respite Services Supportive Home Care Tasks Part time

Here at Community Horizons, we have a Christian family seeking a compassionate, respite/personal support provider with Christian values who will support 2 young boys that are 10 in a household where kindness, respect, and appropriate boundaries are emphasized. 

Please note this is a pet friendly house

Hours – weekdays after school hours and occasional weekends.  The hours are 330pm to 730pm two day a week. There may be an opportunity for more hours

4 hours a shift

Job tasks:

Communicate with parents on what you will be doing for your shift

Assist with home work help

Mentor the boys  in bedtime routines

Spending boy time like playing a game, building with legos, and playing with cars

 

Requirements:

Able to pass a background check

Reliable transportation

Kind, friendly, Christian values, and patient

Experience working with children or adults with behavioral struggles

Experience with working with children with autism

Experience working with children who spent time in out-of-home placements or adopted youth.
