Member in Merrill, WI is looking for a dependable Independent Living Specialist to join his care team. This is a on-call gig where you'll help out with personal care, support, and light housekeeping for a member in the community.
It's a great way to make extra cash and do something meaningful! (Heads up—since it's on-call, there are no guaranteed hours.)

What your role would entail:
- Help the member with daily stuff like bathing, dressing, grooming, and preparing meals (plus helping with commode use)
- Keep them company and provide emotional support
- Give medications as prescribed
- Assist with mobility, including heavy lifting/pushing/pulling when needed, using tools like a Hoyer lift or sit-to-stand
- Keep the home clean and safe by doing housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes
Ideal candidates will have:
- Prior experience in caregiving or home care (big plus!)
- Ability to do heavy lifting and help with mobility issues
- Compassionate personality and good communication skills to build trust
- Experience with Hoyer lifts or sit-to-stand aids is a bonus
What the member is looking for:
- Reliable transportation and dependability
- Be at least 18 years old
- Pass a background check before starting
Schedule: On call for day and evening shifts as needed
Pay: $17 an hour
